Here are ways you can help:

Volunteer Drivers Needed To Take Veterans To Doctors Appointments: Your local veterans need your help. Drivers needed to transport our local veterans to doctors’ appointments at Veterans Clinics in Florence, South Carolina; Fayetteville and Durham, North Carolina. If you have some time to volunteer and donate to the veterans who have served you and your country, please call Valerie Graves, 843-774-1427.

Food Drives and Volunteers To Pack and Distribute Food To Veterans: Help For Veterans is always in need of individuals, groups, clubs, churches, businesses, and organizations to hold food drives for non-perishable and other essential items or for monetary donations to support these efforts. Volunteers are also needed to help in packing items and in distributing items to veterans. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Johnnie Daniels at jd@dillonnews.org or inbox us on the Help for Veterans page on Facebook.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER

There are many opportunities to volunteer. Whether it it helping with handing out food, house repairs, volunteering to drive veterans to their medical appointments, visiting veterans at our nursing homes, holding a food drive, or other event. Contact us and let us know  ways that you would like to help.
